Story 2: Shraddha Kapoor and Raj Kumar Rao’s film Stree 2 is ruling the box office. The film crossed the 250 crore mark in just 6 days. However, Shraddha Kapoor has been given a little less screen space in the film, which fans are not happy about. Now the film’s director Amar Kaushik has reacted to this.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, ‘Many people said this but the character was like that. If you see, Abhishek Banerjee also comes in the film for 40 minutes only. It was the opposite with Aparshakti. This was the demand of the script. Till the time he was not under the control of Sarkata, he was in madness and after that he becomes something else.,
The director spoke about Shraddha’s less screen time
Further he wrote- We wrote only what was necessary. We did not think that this actor will feel bad, this role is big, this role is small. For us the script is the most important. Things should happen in an organic way. My producer also gave me freedom regarding this. Some people complained that Shraddha’s screen time was less. But if Shraddha was seen more then the way she entered would not have had the impact.

One song in this film has also been sung by Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh. The film has earned more than 250 crores and is continuously ruling the box office.
This film had a clash with two other films Khel Khel Mein (Akshay Kumar) and Veda (John Abraham). But this did not affect the earnings and popularity of Stree 2.
